So I have had some trouble getting into my blog but alas I figured it out! I will be catching up on the blogs I have missed. Tonight I researched the Psychology Mental Measurments Database. It is pretty much what I expected it to be. I typed in schizophrenia in the search bar and got 21 search results back. I thought it was nice not to be overloaded by results. Twenty One is managable and easy enough to look through every result. I am thinking that a psychology student would be able to understand the articles, I however had a hard time. I really didn't have any idea what the article was talking about but some cool features of the database include a language translator with tons of language options, as well as a listening option that reads the article to you. You can even pick between three different accents. There is also a visual search option that puts results into a different catogories that just makes the process a little easier to navigate and may help patrons that learn visually. I thought this data base was pretty neat. It has some interesting options and is pretty straight forward like many other databases.
